Two brothers between the ages of 20 and 23 respectively on Sunday survived ghastly motor accident along Bwari Road by Military check point, Ushafa.
The car with registration number, AG 309 PTN, Delta was heading to Bwari when another car from behind suddenly negotiated overtaking and in the process of avoiding being hit by the reckless overtaking car lose control and somersaulted 3 times and bounced with its 4 tyres faced up.
According to one of the brothers who does not want his name in print, the reckless driver who did not stop after causing the accident, suddenly ran to his front as he was avoiding head on coalition with an incoming vehicle because he was overtaking at a wrong time and place.
In lamentation, the young man was speechless and did not know where to start from as it appears he probably took his parents car for Sunday outing.
According to an eye witness, Emmanuel Bature, “the runaway driver was at fault but unfortunately he did not stop to sympathise with the young men”. Bature further said the survival of the brothers in the fatal accident was an art of God as the car was damaged beyond repair but they came out uninjured.
The incident is yet to be officially reported to the police as at press time.
